Hello. My name
is Kenneth Wajda and I am the Cinematographer
and Director of Photography at Old Timey Films.
Quite simply,
I am a filmmaker and television producer because my
passion is film and television production! I don't just
enjoy telling stories in pictures, I love it. I've been
a professional filmmaker and photographer for over 20
years and it shows in my productions!
I
studied film and lighting design at New York University
(with Theirry Pathé, who also taught lighting and
cinematography to Martin Scorsese and the Coen Brothers!)
and graduated the filmmaking program at the Hollywood
Institute of Film.
I
have a commercial video production company, Denver
Boulder Video, and have extensive experience shooting
24P SD and HD video using state-of-the-art equipment including
Panasonic's newest P2 DVCPRO HD cameras. My crew includes
some of the best local shooters including one with a hovercraft
for aerial cinematography.
I've
shot for network television in the U.S., London and Mexico
as well as many productions for businesses throughout
the country. I was a photojournalist
for 15 years at a daily newspaper in New Jersey, so I
know about capturing those special moments for the story.
In
2008, I completed a narrative feature film from my own
original screenplay and am working on my second feature
film.
Contact
me and let me bring my enthusiasm and passion for my art
to your wedding day to create a dynamic film that you
and your family and friends will cherish for generations
to come.
New this year, I am adding Family Films and New
Baby Films, all shot on Super 8 film. If you want
a truly timeless cinematic memory of your family or new
baby or any celebration, contact me and we can discuss
a custom-designed package.
